Hundreds of prayers sticks have been left at Joshua Tree events over the years. Every year they come back and the alter is awaken for a brief three days. WE made prayer sticks at our last Placerville Drum Circle, they will continue to come back and others will be added. This is a beautiful remembrance. Participants will also learn specific techniques, used by shamans not only to meet Power Animals and Spirit Guides but to also learn basic Divination.They will also learn how to integrate the basic principles of shamanism in their daily lives in order to maintain health and well-being for themselves, for the community and the planet.Please bring a rattle or a drum, if possible. Wear comfortable clothes and socks, bring a scarf to cover your eyes during shamanic journeying, a blanket, a pen and a notebook to write down your shamanic experiences.

Placerville Drum Circle had a beautiful Despachio Ceremony on Sunday Jan. 17 . All who attended took part in creating and sending prayers to a flower mandala made for Pachamama (Mother Earth). WE prayed for a successful year for our circle hoping to reach as many people as we can who might be interested in healing the community and extending that out to the world. After completion the Despachio will be burned in a sacred fire sending prayers to Spirit. #HealingCenter #HealingArts
